There is beauty hidden in the shadows of our story.
We spend so much of our lives searching for the bright, polished moments—the victories, the successes, the parts we’re proud to share. But the shadows are part of the story too. They reveal where the light is coming from.
God has a way of transforming our darkest places into displays of His grace. He touches our weaknesses, our failures, and our suffering, then invites us not to hide them, but to boast in them so that others will see His strength instead of our own.
We naturally crave the glory for ourselves, but glory belongs to God alone. If my shadows become the place where His light shines most clearly, then I will rejoice in them all the more. Even in suffering, His grace is enough, and His power is made perfect in weakness.
